Stephen Harper Eats Babies: An Unbiography

Posted February 16, 2012 under Government, Laughs, Short Stories

My new posts will (mainly) all from my new book “Stephen Harper Eats Babies: An Unbiography” (working title). I am hoping to make the book into a full novel but I usually fail at that so I am just going to make it as long as I can and maybe work with Aelius (cheapassfiction.com) to make it better. I hope you enjoy it.

CBSA Are Still Dumb

Posted December 25, 2011 under Government, Little Brother

So if anyone has read my previous article about the CBSA using Wikipedia as justification to search my stuff… you know I don’t get along well with them.

Tonight’s hotshot Mr 11112  (who had a hot blonde supervisor), thought that because I didn’t answer his questions I was an idiot, he called me an idiot 12 times throughout tonights ordeal. He also had the gull to say that I look like the kind of person who would look at child porn.
Here is the beautiful thing, I didn’t give them the passwords to any of my computers except one. They were threatening to send it off to Ottawa and have their IT security professionals take it apart, however, I just recently 0′ed out the hard drive so it was a fresh install of just Ubuntu to use as a server… so they spent 30 minutes trying to convince me to just give them the password so they didn’t have to take it. Finally I “gave in” and let them have the password… they didn’t find anything and they gave it back.
Of course, I take my privacy seriously and the reason I didn’t give the passwords to my cell phone or other devices is to protect those who communicate with me. Their emails are private and I don’t want anyone to have access to their emails I would gladly give up my computer before that happened.
lol now here is the kicker… the officer kept trying to get me to slip up and say that I got my MacBook Air as a gift while in the states. “It looks too new”, I told him if he had proof he could charge me with a crime… otherwise his opinion on the state of my laptop didn’t matter. He let it go.
If I did get my laptop in the United States they will never be able to do anything about it, because they will never have any proof.
Here is a recap of tonights events:
I say that I follow my charter rights, and I say that is my supreme rule. They say that their mandate supersedes those rights… something this officer tried to repeat over and over. In the end, I still never answered any of their questions and I went on my way.. and it didn’t bother me in the slightest.
You can’t compel someone to speak, even if you DO have the legal right to do so… I can always just keep my mouth shut, and I always will.  Except they asked me questions “after I was free to leave” like do you participate in occupy which I answered that I had been in the camp, and I was also asked if I was in the Olympics, which I responded that I wasn’t fast enough for the olympics. :)
I am not angry at the CBSA officer who was being a dick to me all night, I feel sorry for him… any person who has to stoop so low to put down another person for laughs clearly has their own problems, and I hope they turn out well for him.
Tonight was a victory for freedoms and a loss for the CBSA… so I am going to take my politician hat off for the night and taunt the shit of them.

When anybody can be locked up indefinitely for nothing, there is no reason to follow any law anymore, ever.

Canada’s CD Tax

Canada’s CD Tax

This is why we shouldn’t let America or an industry decide our laws… We should also put a 10c tax on each gallon of gas which goes to what remains of the stagecoach industry.
